Pendulum of reciprocal action

Abstract

The appliance Pendulum of Hilgers 1 was designed by the author with the objective of making a distalation of the upper molars when it is noted that these are in a mesial position in the upper jaw.

In this article we present a modification of the appliance where it is used the potential action of the distalation strengh in a reciprocal way to stimulate the sagital development of the premaxila or upper jaw when it is diagnosed as in shortage, simultaneously with the dis rotation and/or distalation of the upper permanent molars.
