The purpose of this bibliographical review is to summarize and evaluate the most recent literature available on the removal of ceramic brackets using laser technology, focused mainly on high power lasers, mainly the Er:Yag laser (Yttrium and Aluminum garnet laser doped with Erbium) and evaluate its effects (ARI, SBS, pulp

temperature) on the tooth in comparison with conventional debonding techniques.
